1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Clippi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Clippi provides AI-powered media creation tools including text-to-image, text-to-video, image-to-video, voiceover, avatar creation, and media enhancement services. Services are provided on a credit-based, pay-per-use model.
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Generate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Create deepfakes or non-consensual intimate imagery
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer our AI models
- Abuse, harass, or harm others
5. Credits and Payments
Credits are purchased in advance and deducted upon use. Unused credits do not expire. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice. All credit purchases are final upon completion of the transaction.
6. Refund Policy
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. This policy applies without exception to both used and unused credits.
When you purchase credits, we immediately incur costs with our third-party AI infrastructure providers to reserve capacity for your use. These costs cannot be recovered, regardless of whether you subsequently use your credits.
- No Refunds on Unused Credits: Credit balances are not redeemable for cash and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged under any circumstances. Credits remain available in your account indefinitely and do not expire.
- No Refunds on Used Credits: Once credits have been applied toward any generation, they are non-refundable regardless of output quality, satisfaction, or fitness for purpose.
- Output Quality: AI-generated content is inherently variable and subjective. We make no guarantees regarding quality, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose. Dissatisfaction with output does not constitute grounds for refund, credit restoration, or any other form of compensation.
- Duplicate or Erroneous Purchases: You are solely responsible for reviewing your purchase before confirming. Accidental, duplicate, or erroneous purchases are not eligible for refund.
- Disputed Transactions: If you believe a transaction on your account is unauthorized, you must contact your financial institution directly. Chargebacks or payment disputes will result in immediate suspension of your account and forfeiture of any remaining credit balance.
- Technical Failures: In the event of a verified technical failure attributable solely to our platform that results in no output being delivered whatsoever, we may, at our sole discretion, restore the credits consumed to your account. This constitutes a credit restoration, not a cash refund, and restored credits remain subject to these Terms. This provision does not apply to outputs you are dissatisfied with, partial or corrupted outputs, or failures caused by your input, internet connection, device, or any other factor outside our direct control.
By purchasing credits, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to evaluate our services using any complimentary credits provided and that you accept full responsibility for your purchase decision. This policy shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you create using our services. You grant us a license to process your content as necessary to provide our services. Our platform, including all software and AI models, remains our intellectual property.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clippi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services.
9. Apple App Store End User License Agreement
The following terms apply when you download, access, or use Clippi through the Apple App Store. These terms are in addition to the general Terms of Service above and are required by Apple Inc.
Acknowledgement: You acknowledge that this agreement is between you and Clippi only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Clippi, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Clippi application ("Licensed Application") and its content.
Scope of License: The license granted to you for the Licensed Application is a non-transferable license to use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Except as provided in the Usage Rules, you may not distribute or make the Licensed Application available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.
Maintenance and Support: Clippi is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application, as specified in this agreement or as required under applicable law. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application.
Warranty: Clippi is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Licensed Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Licensed Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Clippi's sole responsibility.
Product Claims: You acknowledge that Clippi, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and/or use of the Licensed Application, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
Intellectual Property Claims: In the event of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application or your possession and use of the Licensed Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Clippi, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-Party Terms: You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Licensed Application, including any third-party services or APIs accessed through the application.
Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this End User License Agreement, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
